Happy Fourth of July RAK's

What a total surprise when I received these two Fourth of July cards. It makes me feel like I should have done cards too.

The card above is from Connie Thorson and her friend, Judy . Connie teaches classes at Stampers' Alley in Mooresville, NC. This picture does not do her card justice at all. The little bear has sparkle on the white areas of his hat and the stars of the flag he is holding. The white portions of the burst also have sparkle. Her flag to the right is wonderful. She has covered it in frosted clear micro beads. They sparkle as you move the card around. Thank you so much Connie and Judy for the cheerful card.

This card was sent by Karen Vandivier, who also teaches classes at the store in Mooresville, NC. She used a Cuttlebug folder for the white background. The navy background behind the flag was stamped with Gold Galaxy and is just the right color for behind the flag. The flag is something else. It is embossed and so are the words she mounted over it. How beautiful, Karen. I love it and thanks for brightening my Fourth of July.

Both of these cards arrived the day before I got back from the Stamp Fest in Kisseemee, FL and were a real treat. If any of you reading this live near the Stampers Alley store, I highly recommend their classes.

Thanks for stopping by "the blog" to share these great cards.
