A Tribute To All Of You

If not for all of you, I wouldn't have a blog, have ideas to create, etc. So today is a big thank you for all of your art that inspires me, your comments that make me feel so good about me and so thankful for all of you that have touched my life in this small space of the universe. Profound yes, sincere always!!

Now I would like to share a card from a very dear friend who has touched my life in many ways. Her name is Jackie Kalchert. She sent me the card below and what a beautiful surprise it was. She is thanking me and I should be thanking her.

Enjoy:

You need to see that pear up close. Wow! It was cut with a Cricut, and she painted it and built the frame around it. The opening is from a Splellbinders die set. The light colored cardstock you see behind the pear is actually the inside of the card. Beautiful my friend and thank you so much.
Next is a card I made, that was inspired by an artist whose blog I visit on a regular basis. She is just so inspiring. The way she sees life with her eyes and then recreates it is marvelous. Her name is Suzanne at Suzanne's Stamping Spot and I smile every time I visit her blog. HERE is the card that inspired mine.

IMAGE:

1. Cardstock background was created 2 or 3 years ago using Sunset Glow and Fresh Pesto Radiant Pearls sponged on white cardstock and put away to grow old. Solid floral stamps from Clearly Inspired by Paper Inspirations (an RAK from my friend, Jaackie Kalchert) were stamped randomly with Moonlight White and then embossed with White Embossing Powder. The smallest die from Splellbinders Labels One was used to get all of the petals. They were placed with 3D Pop Dots.

The center flower stamens are brown Jesse James Tiny Sew Through Shapes with gold cord threaded and slip knotted on the up side. The little cloth flowers on the right hand bottom side are done with glue dots and pieces of the gold cord in the center. The whole thing is mounted to the new Cuttlebug Victoria Embossed White Laid paper cardstock. the ribbon is May Arts two tone.

Hope you like it and have a great weekend. I have missed being here less often. Thanks for stopping by to look and share and hugs to all of you, your art, and your blogs too~~~~

Gorgeous cards! How much patience must your friend have had to make that pear card??!!!

Re the medallion stickers, what a shame you can't get them there. That's a real surprise as you always seem to have so much more choice over there, and it takes ages for new stuff to make its way across the pond to us!

I did find the name of one manufacturer - Le Suh, they are in Holland. www.lesuh.com
Maybe have a look at their website in case the USD to Euro rate is better than the USD to sterling. You never know!

Or let me know and I can send a few to you! :)
