It's All About The Google

I have to say that usually I can find what I want by Googling. Yesterday I was using my Niji waterbrushes as usual and one of them was acting out. LOLOL When I wanted water, it just wouldn't flow......maybe a little. I have a couple like this and couldn't figure out what to do. It was as if they were clogged somehow, but I couldn't see any obstructions like color, etc. I had thrown one away in the past because of it.

On a whim I Googled 'Clogged Niji Waterbrush' and I found this site:

I followed the procedure and it fixed both of my brushes. I did three things that were a little different from the instructions:

4. Where it says to use a q-tip to clean inside of sleeve, I brushed mine with a wet old tooth brush and then applied the q-tip.

7. Mine didn't look dirty and so I left that part alone.

8. For the brush tip, I wet it a little so all of the nylon bristles would adhere to one another, gently squeezed them together and then the rest was a cake walk.

Both pens are working like new. What a find.......and I did it all with Google!!! When searches don't work I change the words or position of the words and it works for me always! Gotta love that Google.

Thanks for stopping by to look and share all!!

What did we do before Google??? It is truly amazing what is out there --- mostly for free too!

Great tips!

I should send you mine, hehe. I gave up on using those darn things because I felt like I couldn't control the amount of water and the brushes are so big. I've gone back to the old fashioned paint brush.
