I have just noticed another one of my cards with a rhinestone missing when I was getting it ready to send off. I use the rhinestone and pearls with the sticky stuff on the back, but I guess I want a stronger bond. I generally build everything and anything to last. LOLOLOL You know, in case someone keeps it and their great-great-great-someone takes it to the Yankee Road Show in a gazillion years. Ha!
Does anyone have a special technique to cement them to their cards without seeming to take away from the look? I would really appreciate your comments how how you apply them. Also, if any of you have questions I would be glad to share any answers I have and find the ones I don't!
Thanks for stopping by to look and share and I have a card to post shortly.

HI Shirley,
I never depend on the sticky stuff on the gems, they do fall off eventually. I drop a tiny drop of glossy accents onto the spot and it is even better than glue. It is also self leveling and if you want to add some height to the gem, make the drop a little bigger and don't press the gem down too much. I also use it to glue acetate and shrink plastic pieces. I hope this helps....

Shirley, I use good old White Elmer's glue. It sticks well and dries clear. A lil dab will do ya!!
Shirley I usually have the opposite problem, as I sometimes put them in the wrong place and need to move them and they won't budge. I do like those pen glue sticks with the tiny tip however if I do dislodge them and have to reglue. I think it depends on the manufacturer of the gems. The cheap ones in the dollar aisle/stores are horrible.
Sorry I missed this question, Shirley.
I use Crystal Effects to attach my gems or pearls.
