A Cold Weather Charm

I really love the main image and also getting to use another one of my huge background stamps.

I just finished posting this on the IO blog. I am posting it here to save you a trip. :-) However, if you want to see how I did any of it. You can check it out over there by clicking HERE. Hee hee.

As you can see below I have also posted the materials I used here. Also I am going to post a tip that all of you may not know about.

*Tip- Don't ask me where I learned this... I use a lot of Red Rubber stamps with repositionable cling. When I am done stamping and cleaning the stamp, I always put the piece of paper, that comes on the back of the cling, back in place. I have found that if I don't do that the gray cling loses its static that makes it stick to the acrylic
block. I had been mount them on acetate pages, but some of them would really be hard to get off if I hadn't used them in a while. This works perfectly.

Supplies:

Stamps: Toasty Treats - E2342, Swirl Trees - CL196 or Make Merry - A 8147, and Make Merry - A 8147 (Done with my new MEGA MOUNT).

Paper: Neenah Classic Crest Solar White Super Smooth cardstock, Stardream Malachite

Inks: Brilliance Galaxy Gold, Twinkling H2O's Forest Green, Garnet, and Lemon Yellow

Accessories: Spellbinders Nestabilities Labels One, May Arts Ribbon, Bow Easy, Mark Richards 5MM Pearls, Liquid Pearls, Stickles Gold glitter glue, Czech Ruby Red bicone and Faux White Pearl glass beads, Heart shaped dressmaker pin from JoAnns.

Don't forget everyone, next week is our IO Halloween Challenge. You have from Thursday until midnight Sunday of next week to send in your card so it can be posted here and added to the IO Customer Photo Album. You must use IO stamps to qualify.

Thanks for stopping by the blog to look and share.

I love hot chocolate with a pile of whipped cream on it and your card made me nostalgic for winter (sigh). Summer just got here where I live too and before we know it it really will be winter :(.

I had to give in this week and start on Christmas cards... LOL!

Yep, that bit of paper really does the job; keeps dust and stuff off, keeps the sticky in.

I'm glad I'm not the only one who finds some clear stamps hard to pull off their plastic sheets! Especially when they are new!
