Wonderful RAK Mail

It's such a nice surprise to find wonderful presents in your mail box. I received two this last week. The first is from a Technique Junkie friend, Jackie Kalchert at Inky Fingers! You should check out her blog. She does awesome cards like the one below, and designs for Paper Temptress and Hearts In Touch too:

She used Cracked Glass from the Feb-Mar 2008 Newsletter and Burnt Edges from the Feb-Mar 2007 Technique Junkie Newsletter. They also have step by step picture tutorials online. She stamped the backgrounds on Neenah Classic Linen cardstock. The corner is a wonderful Sizzix die from Architectual Accents. I hope you can see how lovely the whole card is. It came with a package that had gorgeous paper and a ribbon tied knot with this really cute stamp set inside called Nature by Rhonna Farrer Autumn Leaves:

The second card is so so beautiful and comes from Vicki Potter, also a TJ friend, and fellow blogger. She is not only a gifted stamp and technique artist, but also designs beautiful jewelry. You can visit her blog, Orion Designs and also her Etsy store. I never miss an opportunity to see her cards or her jewelry. The technique she used on her background for the card is from the December 2002-January 2003 Technique Junkie Newsletter. Isn't it gorgeous. Thank you Vicki! It is really beautiful!
