A Gentleman's Cupcake

I wanted to do a card that could be given to either a male or female and I think this one can do that. If these were real cupcakes I picture the insides as Red Velvet cake, which I dearly love.

The background is again part of the Polished Stone Through The Window technique from the 06/07 2005 Newsletter. The main image is Cupcakes from Impression-Obsession . The cupcakes toppings were made dimensional using Ranger Glossy Accents, Gesso, Red Little Black Dress Rockettes, and Embossing Arts Glitteries (little red holeless beads with some glitter too). The last two items may be discontinued and other similar things can be substituted. The cupcakes were also painted with Twinkling H2O's . The images was cutout using a Spellbinder Rectangular Classic Scallop die. The holes were punched using a paper piercer. Discontinued Gold Cord from Stampin' Up was used for the top and the bow tie on the bottom.

The main image, when the bow is untied, lifts for the inside saying "You take the {cup}cake!" by Impression-Obsession. I/O has a ton of other cute expressions that would also be appropriate for use with cupcakes. The brown rhinestones are from Mark Richards Crystal Glitter Elements groups. This was a fun card to make and was kind of like cake decorating. It also gives me the option of adding the actual cardback if I want to write more or leaving it as is for a brief note!

Thanks for stopping by "the blog" to look. If you ever have any questions feel free to email me by clicking on the "Email Me" in the right hand Side Bar.
