Asian Rainbow Brilliance

The background for this card is called Rainbow Brilliance and is in the current Technique Junkies Newsletter. The paper used to frame around the flower is from the Stonehouse Stamps Yuzen Chiyogami Gallery 2 #C302. The edges of the card were also run against the tip of a Black Sharpie pen. The Chiyogami paper has fleck of gold in it and goes well with the Rainbow Brilliance background. The flower is from Stampin' Up "Still Life Stems" (retired). The flower was painted with Twinkling H2O's. The Brass Hummingbird is from Fancifuls, Inc. The word is from Rubber Stamp Tapestry Word Plate I and was stamped with Stazon Jet Black. The Black Onyx Gemstones are Hero Arts. The ribbon is from Michaels.

This card is very straight forward. The background was made using the Cuttlebug embossing folder "Distressed Stripes" . The stripes were washed using Twinkling H2O Honey Amber. The image is Impression-Obsession Fruit Basket Fleur de Lis. The Honey colored hearts are 8mm Czech glass beads. The gold cord is 3-ply gold metallic stretch cord found in the jewelry finding section of hobby stores. Rangers Stickles Gold glitter glue was used around the word. The word is from Rubber Stamp Tapestry Word Plate I, and was stamped with Brilliance Moonlight White.

Thanks for stopping by "the blog".
