Double My Fun Projects

The card above was one of the most fun techniques I have done using the latest Technique Junkie Newsletter. It is called Waxy Cuttlebug. This worked like magic and, in a sense, I got 2 backgrounds for the price of one. {Smile}

The main image is Hero Arts Flowers & Leaf Background. It was stamped with Brilliance Cosmic Copper and painted with, what else, Twinkling H2O's. The highlights were done with Rangers Liquid Pearls & Stickles Glitter Glue. The embellishments are Hero Arts Pearl Stickers. The edges were done using Fiskars Scallop Paper Edges Long scissors and the holes were punched with a paper piercer.

The words are from the Word Plate I from Rubber Stamp Tapestry and were stamped with Brilliance Cosmic Copper. The in-and-out of the ribbon was done with the new Fiskars Leave It To Weaver (see video) paper punch. Quick and fun compared to slicing holes with my Exacto Knife every @#$*&^^%$*^)^%$? of an inch. {Smile} The ribbon is May Arts.

This card was relatively quick and easy. After stamping the Bloom Spray by Impression-Obsession with Stazon Forest Green Ink I painted it with Twinkling H2O's and highlighted with Rangers Liquid Pearls and Stickles Glitter Glue. The edges were created with Fiskars Scallop Paper Edger Scissors Long and punched with a paper piercer. The background is pink cardstock embossed with Cuttlebug Swiss Dot embossing folder. The words are from Impression-Obsession Sentiments I on mounted Oval Stampin' Up Paper Punches. The embellishments are Hero Arts Pearls. The ribbon is from Michaels $1 bin.

Thank you all for stopping by "the blog". I am off to do some more of the fantastic new backgrounds in the new 04/05 Technique Junkie Newsletter.

Beautiful job on both of these cards Shirley I love the look of the dotted cuttlebug folder and also like the way you weave the ribbon on to your cards.
