Galerie Vernissage Christmas Tree

I fell in love with this stamp 8 years ago.  Then I:

Image:
  1. Stamped it using Brilliance Galaxy Gold and painted with Twinks.
  2. Highlighted the pine cones with Stickles Cinnamon glitter glue
  3. Used Marvy Liquid Applique with heat gun for the snow and laid it aside until last week.
  4. Then I trimmed around the tree.
  5. Used a Sakura Glue pen and added Deco Art Glamour Dust to the snow.
Background:
  1. Neenah Classic Crest Solar White Cardstock through the Cuttlebug using Spellbinders Fancy Ribbon Threader largest and next to largest dies.
  2. Used Cuttlebug embossed Snowflakes background I had been hoarding and with Spellbinders largest die as a stencil, embossed from the back, and cut out.
  3. Mounted it on the center of the largest white die cut as shown.
  4. Mounted white pearl stickers as shown around the edge with Glossy Accents.
  5. Added Deco Art Glamour Dust to the snowflakes here and there using the Sakura Glue pen.
  6. Threaded the ribbon and mounted the bow done with the Bow-Easy.
Sentiment:
  1.  Did the same thing with smaller die cut that I did with the top for pearl stickers and ribbon.
  2. Stamped the sentiment with Memento Rose Bud.
  3. Stamped the corners and the sentiment area using one of the Rubber Stamp Tapestry Pine Branch Border Set stamps with Memento Bamboo Leaves.  Highlighted with Sakura Glue pen and glitter.
Assembly:
  1. Mounted the image on the die cut with 3-D pop-dots.
  2. Mounted that on Bazzill Dotted Swiss Clover cardstock.
  3. Cut a piece of white cardstock to 4.25"X9.75" and made a "Twisted Easel Card" following the instruction found HERE.
  4. Mounted the cardfront to the folded card.
  5. The bottom portion is Bazzill Dotted Swiss Clover and Neenah Solar White cardstock.
  6. The sentiment was mounted at the top with 3D pop-dots.
  7. Envelope was done with stamps from Rubber Stamp Tapestry Pine Branch Border Set.
  8. The stick pin is a 1" boutonniere pin with a Czech pearl heart bead.
I didn't list where you can get the supplies I used because the main image is retired.  If you want to know where I purchased any of the products I used, email me and I will be glad to help on where you can get them the cheapest, free shipping, etc.

Finally Mix 'N Mugs

I've had this Flourishes set for a while and decided when I finally got my new Spellbinders dies to use it.  Here is what I did:

Image:
  1. Stamped the image from Mix 'n Mugs with Brilliance Galaxy Gold ink on white cardstock twice.
  2. Painted first image with twinks, cut out, and embossed from the back.
  3. Painted the daisies and blue flowers on the second image, cut out, embossed from the back, mounted on the first image with glue dots and Glossy Accents.
  4. Created embossed die cut with Spellbinders A2 Polka Dots next to largest die and white cardstock. Hint - I just use a stylus to emboss it from the back.  For me it's quicker than putting it though the machine.
  5. Mounted flowers to it and stamped Just for You with Memento Bamboo Leaves.
Background and Base:
  1. Stamped a piece of white cardstock with CAC Ticking inked with SU Barely Banana.
  2. Stamped over that with CAC Dots and Brilliance Moonlight White, added White EP,  and heat embossed.
  3. Created embossed die cut with Spellbinders A2 Polka Dots largest die.
  4. Used the die as a stencil to create the background from my stamped one and mounted.
 Assembled:
  1. Mounted the image on background.
  2. Threaded blue ribbon as shown and tied bow.
  3. Mounted bow with Bow-Easy for bouquet.
  4. The pin was constructed with a 1" corsage pin and a 6mm glass pearl heart bead.
  5. The inside card measured 4.75"X7" before folding.
Inside and Envelope:
  1.  I used a dauber and Galaxy Gold to ink the center of the bouquet to add it to the inside and envy.  Painted with twinks.
  2. Added glitter glue to centers of flowers on envy, cardfront and inside.
That it for today.  Feels good to be back at least for a while!!!  Thanks for stopping by to look and share!

I Love Angels

I am using some of the new stamps by Impression Obsession and what fun.  This little lady is Angelica.  She can also be purchased as a Clear Stamp Set.  Just a note that I pretty much emboss all of my images from the backside with a stylus on an embossing mat.  The minute I saw her I thought "Perfect for paper piecing."  Below is how I did the rest:

IMAGE:
  1. Stamped Angelica on white cardstock with Memento Cocoa Brown.
  2. Painted the first images face, hands, and feet.
  3. Used Stickles Diamonds glitter glue inside her wings.
  4. Used Flock for the halo and wing edges. (It wasn't white enough for me so I applied Fluid Chalk Popcorn ink with a paint brush on top of it.  I squeezed the bottle just enough to wet the top opening.  I laid the image aside to dry.)  You could try Flower Soft too.
  5. Stamped Angelica's head and painting hair, cutting out and mounting on head.
BACKGROUND and GOWN:
  1. Inking Cover-A-Card Ornate Snowflakes with Fluid Chalk Warm Red and stamped on white cardstock twice length-wise with Mega Mount.
  2. Trimmed a piece to 4"X5.25" and applied the bottom half of IO Border Duo 1 to one of the bottom of the 5.25"H sides and mounted to white cardstock base.
  3. Stamped arms and skirt of Angelica on piece of Ornate Snowflakes with Memento Cocoa Brown, cut out and mounted on Angelica with 3D pop-dots.  Added embroidery string bow and pearl stickers to waist and skirt.
  4. Applied a piece of white cardstock to a Spellbinders Oval Deckle die, used a dauber to add Fluid Chalk Warm Red around the edge using die as stencil as shown.
  5. Stamped Heavenly Holiday with Memento Cocoa Brown to oval and added 6mm pearl heart.
ASSEMBLY:
  1. Mounted oval with image to background.
  2. Mounted white organdy ribbon and bow as shown.

INSIDE and ENVELOPE:
  1. Two Deckled Oval dies were used with a piece of Ornate Snowflake background and used like THIS.
  2. A piece of the die cut from Border Duo 1 was used for the lower left front.
  3. The die itself was used on the flap of the envelop as shown.
I am posting this Monday evening.  If you want to see my cute Halloween card tomorrow, 09/04, on the IO blog go HERE.  That's it for this visit. Thanks for stopping by to look and share!!!
