She used Cracked Glass from the Feb-Mar 2008 Newsletter and Burnt Edges from the Feb-Mar 2007 Technique Junkie Newsletter. They also have step by step picture tutorials online. She stamped the backgrounds on Neenah Classic Linen cardstock. The corner is a wonderful Sizzix die from Architectual Accents. I hope you can see how lovely the whole card is. It came with a package that had gorgeous paper and a ribbon tied knot with this really cute stamp set inside called Nature by Rhonna Farrer Autumn Leaves:
Thanks so much Jackie! I love the card, wrapping paper, bow, and the stamp set too of course!
The second card is so so beautiful and comes from Vicki Potter, also a TJ friend, and fellow blogger. She is not only a gifted stamp and technique artist, but also designs beautiful jewelry. You can visit her blog, Orion Designs and also her Etsy store. I never miss an opportunity to see her cards or her jewelry. The technique she used on her background for the card is from the December 2002-January 2003 Technique Junkie Newsletter. Isn't it gorgeous. Thank you Vicki! It is really beautiful!
In addition to the wonderful gifts above, I received another gift online from a fellow TJ friend and blogger too! Germaine Ferrao -Lenn at Handmade Creations presented the following award to me:
Germaine has traveled the world with her husband, whose job takes them everywhere. She is now in England. Don't forget to stop by and check out her wonderful art. Thank you so much Germaine for this wonderful award. The award is for those of us who value friendship above all. I give this award to all of you who come by to visit and share. Have a wonderful weekend everybody and with a little luck I will have another card from me tomorrow.
I hope to have another card ready by at least tomorrow! I promise nothing. I get so side tracked always! Thanks for stopping by to look and share!
